native, I was raised in Skagit Valley, attended Western University, married
and began an adventurous 18 years living in California, Arizona, Oregon, and
Michigan. It was great returning to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in
1990 to reside with my three children in the seaside village of Langley.
After finishing my Business degree at the University of Washington, I became a
REALTOR in 1991, enhancing my skills through continuing accreditation. I
earned the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist, CRS; Accredited
Buyer's Representative, ABR; and Coldwell Banker Previews Specialist.
It is truly a gift to live on such a beautiful island of
mature forest, sandy beaches and open prairies with endless vistas of
snow-capped mountains and the Puget Sound. We are proximate to
metropolitan Seattle, the Olympics, the Cascade mountains and the ocean with
the cosmopolitan cities of Vancouver and Victoria only a short distance away.
You really can indulge your interests in recreation, culture, education,
sports, fashion, cuisine and leisure! Whidbey Island is a close knit,
supportive and nurturing community of activists, artists, artisans, musicians,
educators, actors and crafts people. You have the opportunity to enjoy the natural
beauty and quite ambiance or engage in numerous organizations and activities.
I especially enjoy being involved in the Maxwelton Salmon Adventure, the
Whidbey Island Garden Tour, Hearts and Hammers, and Bookwomen. Walking,
hiking, kayaking, bicycling, gardening, reading and taking my grandchildren to
the beach and parks are among my favorite pastimes.
