Coupeville School District offers quality education programs and services to over 1,100 students each year.  The district covers the central portion of Whidbey Island and includes one elementary, one middle school, and one high school.  The middle and high school share a campus, but are located in separate facilities.  Construction of a new high school is scheduled to open the fall of 2007.  Coupeville also offers the Cedar Program, an alternative learning experience program supporting families inclined toward home schooling.

Coupeville's K-12 curriculum is aligned with Washington State benchmarks and each year's instruction builds on the pervious year.  Though small, the district offers a well-rounded selection of courses.

Strong student support programs cover special education, bilingual, homeless, and reading and math needs.  Our Learning Partner Program provides tutoring and mentoring support to help students meet academic goals.  Learning partners of all ages provide over 4,000 hours of assistance each year.

A diverse program of athletic, academic, club, and leadership activities is available.  Younger students participate in athletic activities sponsored by lo cal community organizations such as Central Whidbey Youth Athletic Association and Little League.
